----Opening remarks
People hold different opinions on the profound and realistic question of "why people live". Mr. Inamori also has his own unique outlook on life: "in order to make a little progress than when he was born, or to die with a more beautiful and noble soul." Everyone's starting point and ending point are the same, but the process is not the same. Mentality decides fate, choice decides life. And the process just refers to the book's name "huofa".
After reading the book "living method", I deeply feel that Mr. Inamori's thought of "respecting the heaven and loving the lover" with his Kyocera business philosophy is short but profound.
1. Good deeds and altruism
"At the beginning of man, nature is good." With the growth of age and experience, now people have long forgotten the most basic and simplest rule of life. Looking back at the book, Mr. Inamori said that the principle of life is the most primitive and simple standard of human beings: don't lie, be honest, not selfish, not insatiable, don't give people trouble, etc. These philosophies seem to have been accepted as early as in kindergarten, but they are the basic principles that we should apply to life and work.
I have read a story before, and the general content is as follows:
A young man took a bus to work early in the morning. On the crowded bus, he was trampled on by another passenger. Before the man explained, the young man yelled: are you blind? However, the other side was not good at it, so they yelled at each other. At the second stop, both of them were "invited" out of the carriage by other passengers. Because it was the rush hour, the young people were in a hurry to catch the next bus, but they were still late when they arrived at the company. They were scolded by the supervisor for this, and their relatives were very depressed. They were in a muddle all day, Thinking about all kinds of bad things about the man who stepped on his feet in the morning, he blamed all the bad things today, which led to mistakes in his work. He was "invited" out of the company by the boss and the supervisor. When he got home, the angry young man saw his girlfriend lying on the sofa watching TV at home and scolded him. Finally, his girlfriend ran away and broke up with the young man. If the story can be repeated and the young people are trampled on by others, instead of swearing, they listen to each other's explanation. Then the ending of the story should be very different, right?
When I think of my work, everyone will have temper and selfishness. When I communicate with colleagues, I always have a new life with personal emotion and self-interest: "give it to who", "I won't", "I don't care about it"... There are problems: "how do you do things", "it's definitely your problem", "who did I give it to before, I'm not responsible for this "... And so on. Always throw the responsibility to others and assign it to subordinates. Selfishness and glib. Is it really yourself who benefits in the end? This won't and that won't. what else do you need to do in this position? Whose fault is it? What's the use of being a leader? On the contrary, if we are friendly, tolerant, sincere, and help each other, and the whole working atmosphere is harmonious, how many things will we have to quarrel about and how many responsibilities will we have to bear?
I am willing to believe in the truth, goodness and beauty of the world.
2、 Pay no less than anyone's efforts
I used to be confused. When I look at my peers, some of them are successful in their careers, some of them are famous, and some of them have both children. Compared with myself who is still stuck in the mire of life, I feel exhausted and decadent.
However, after reading the book "living method", I saw that Mr. Inamori wrote, "cause and effect must be reported, but it takes time. Don't be impatient because you can't see the effect at one time. What's important is that you don't relax and be tireless in your daily life, do good deeds, accumulate virtue and persevere. A lot of moods suddenly brighten up, and I slowly ponder through a little bit of the true meaning of life:
Everyone has his own rhythm. Some young people become famous, others become late. For example, someone else may be a sprinter of 100 meters, while you may be a marathon runner. If you have different specialties, how can you compare them. So you can't decide whether you win or lose by your age, but whether you reach the end you want. Some time ago, the 51 year old security guard of Xiamen University, who was popular all over the network, studied in the daytime and worked at night, passed more than 40 examinations in five years and obtained a bachelor's degree in law, which once again awakened my enthusiasm. No matter how old you are, you are in your twenties; Or 40 or 50 years old, after a thousand sails. As long as you get rid of anxiety and impatience and continue to work hard with an ordinary heart, life will surely live up to it.
Stars don't ask passers-by, time pays off those who have a heart;
As long as you work hard, God has his own plan;
Believe it,
To heaven and love, the breeze comes slowly.
