Aspirational and Aspirational--Impressions on Reading "Kyocera Philosophy"

——"The Doctrine of the Mean"

Mr. Kazuo Inamori’s "Kyocera Philosophy" describes many philosophies, including the spirit of fraternity, excellence, perfectionism, love of work, etc., and comprehensively expounds the various past, present and future aspects of the company and work. The problems we face are always very detailed. And what impressed me most was the spur and care that my husband faintly revealed in the book for us who are moving forward. In my opinion, "Kyocera Philosophy" is a self-cultivation book. When I read it carefully and print some of it on my body, my scalp feels a little itchy, and I always feel that I can talk about it.

1. "Ordinary" and "Extraordinary"

Mr. Kazuo Inamori wrote in the book: "It is this "continuity" to turn the ordinary into the extraordinary. Do not choose shortcuts, work hard, step by step, day by day, earnestly, and down-to-earth. With time, dreams become reality. A successful career is an extraordinary mortal. To say that continuity is important does not mean "doing the same thing over and over again". "Continuing" and "repetition" are two different things. It is not just casually repeating the same thing as yesterday. It is today. Better than yesterday and tomorrow better than today, even if it is trivial, we must continue to improve and improve. Listen to the "voice of the gods" at the work site. The key to the incident is all on the scene." When I read this passage, I was in my mind. It appeared that when I first entered society, Master once said to me: "How did the expert come from? It is a person's continuous research and constant exploration of a certain subject. Over time, you will become an expert." "Yes, it is extraordinary to achieve the ultimate in ordinary things. As long as you are full of love, perseverance, and ordinary positions, you can achieve an extraordinary life.

This gave me a very good motivation. I, a guy who joined the army when I was out of society and has not experienced the baptism of society, abandoned the office life of winter and summer, and chose the ever-changing semiconductor industry. People like me who don’t have any skills, if you want to What should I do to achieve results? Mr. Kazuo Inamori gave me a good answer: Keep doing it, just work hard, and leave the rest to God's will. There is nothing hard to do in the world, only things that are too lazy to do. How do you realize your dream compared to all day-to-day thinking? It's better to take action and measure the distance of your dreams step by step.

God rewards hard work, painstakingly pays off, and those who help themselves are bound to help.

2. "60" points and "90" points

In the book "Kyocera Philosophy", Mr. Inamori always emphasized the need to maintain an attitude of excellence and the pursuit of perfect quality. After reading "Chrysanthemum and Sword", I admire the Japanese perfectionism that is almost "pathological". The office area is arranged neatly and orderly, with four corners aligned; the computer desktop is sorted and organized, and the items are clear; the clothes are clean and natural, simple and generous, etc. For the big ones, the rigor of the Japanese is well-known around the world; for the small ones, the acceptance of the Japanese is also well-known at home and abroad. Sometimes I think, even Asians, why a small island country can cultivate such qualities?

Perfectionism, in the final analysis, depends largely on personal thoughts. I remember a story that the teacher often told when I was studying: Every time the big exam is over, the students with good grades said to the students: "Oh, what should I do? I didn’t take the exam this time, and I didn’t know one question well." . The students with poor grades said to others: "This time it was not bad, it was full, there shouldn't be much problem." Finally, when the results came out, it was true that the scores were good but not good, so I got more than 90 points on the test (out of 100). As for the classmates whose grades were almost inferior, it was indeed okay, 60 points passed. This story tells me very well: what is "student tyrant" and what is "student scum".

A life of 60 minutes can be lived, a life of 90 minutes, why not pursue it? Who is born to be a "student tyrant" and born to be a "successor"? Think about it, people who are better than me are still working hard, what qualifications do I have to stand still?

Changing roles, choosing a second job, entering a new industry, everything is new and unknown to me! The fear caused by lack of knowledge and the eagerness to acquire knowledge were completely absent when I was an agency officer. In one month since I joined the company, I have deeply felt the meaning of "knowledge but fear". The more I understand and the deeper I study, the more I feel the lack of knowledge. For example, for software like Excle, most people will definitely say: I will! However, true masters and those who love to delve into it will say: the use of functions is not yet familiar, dynamic charts are not good enough, array formulas and VBA are not yet able to use... will always mark themselves with such and such Xs, Constantly denying yourself, constantly learning new knowledge, and constantly moving forward. This should be the same job, the difference between a monthly salary of 5,000 and a monthly salary of 10,000.

3. "Indifferent" and "Tranquil"

Starting from renting a warehouse, Kyocera became the number one in the original nail, then the number one in Chukyo, then the number one in Kyoto, and then the number one in Japan and the number one in the world. The hardships in this step-by-step process need not be described. If Kazuo Inamori does not persist because of a certain frustration, or is satisfied with a certain success, will there still be today's Kyocera Empire?

Zhuge Liang wrote in his "Mian Nephew Book": The husband's ambition should be lofty, admiring the sages, desperate, abandoning stagnation, so that the ambition of the commoner will be revealed and felt. Endure bending and stretching, go to the finesse, consult widely, and get rid of the miserable; even if it is overwhelmed, how can it detract from the beauty? What's wrong with it? If the will is not strong and persevering, the will is not generous, the mere sluggishness is sluggish in the vulgar, silent in the affection, forever surging in the ordinary, it is inevitable to be indecent. That is to say, as long as a person establishes ambitious and heroic goals and ideals, and works tirelessly for these goals and ideals, without being discouraged or lax, then there will always be a day for success. The same is true for individuals, companies, and nations.

"Professionalism is good at diligence and play, and action is accomplished by thinking and ruining with it." With a lofty ideal goal, there must be a down-to-earth pursuit. There is inertia in human beings. This is the fatal weakness of human beings. Especially when the poor people suddenly acquire and have never enjoyed the sound of dogs and horses, then it is very likely that they will not be able to withstand the temptation of these things and lose their morale. So happy to think of Shu.

I often warn myself: be indifferent when you are proud, and calm when you are frustrated. Success is based on great goals and solid efforts. The road to success is loneliness. Only by "doing nothing but sadness" and taking every step steadfastly and steadily can we realize the original dream.

The above are my thoughts and thoughts after reading the "Kyocera Philosophy", my humble opinion, I hope you can correct me.
